We're prepared to help you at any level, from articulating research questions to design, implementation, analysis, and writing reports. We are ready to provide you with impartial advice or practical assistance to help you make the most of you ideas and objectives.

The Technical Stuff

Conducting in-depth, methodical, and analytical research, is substantially different from searching the internet for what you want. Google search can be a frustrating business. You enter a word or a phrase into a search engine and up comes a stack of irrelevant or overwhelming information. To perform quality and useful research, we must (1) know how & where to look for and use both primary and secondary sources; (2) be equipped with objective, effective, and advanced methodologies and research techniques; (3) be focused on topic, and (4), have the expertise to read between and behind the lines and analyze the research material effectively. Our mantra is: design, research, organize, analyze, write, and review. Our mission is to create relationships, not transactions. Our promise is that we'll be there, as questions or issues arise, every step of the way.

Our Expertise

We're a small group of educators, researchers, analysts and graduate students from a wide range of disciplines who thrive on sharing our experience and knowledge to help you make a success of your projects.

While social sciences (sociology, political science, economics, history, anthropology, ...) and public law are the main areas of our expertise, we believe that we have the necessary knowledge, experience, theoretical, and methodological skills to conduct research in other fields as well as on other issue areas.

Our Experience

As the founder and principal research analyst of the Methodic Research, khashayar has more than 20 years of academic teaching and research experience. I am a political scientist by education, but have taught and conducted research in many other fields.
I have coordinated and participated in several SSHRC-funded research projects.
As a research coordinator: I have recruited and managed graduate research assistants; managed teams of researchers; supervised the collection and compilation of primary and secondary sources and information; analyzed study datasets; helped develop interview and focus group questionnaire; analyzed the information gathered through focus groups and personal interviews; and, worked with other research units, both external and internal.

In a Nutshell

We plan research strategies, find and collect data, interpret and analyze information, write research reports on findings, verify the collected data, and present research to the clients.
